Treo Eile in association with ARKequine will host a live webinar on the Racehorse to Riding Horse: The Steps To Make A Seamless Transition at 8.00pm on Thursday 16th June 2022.

The live webinar will discuss the typical transitional changes to expect as your race horse adapts to a new career as a sport horse. The event will be hosted by Anne O’Connor, Executive Officer at Treo Eile, and will be joined by guest speakers Kirsty McCann, Nutritional Manager at ARKequine, and veterinary surgeon Dr. John Henderson BVM&S MRCVS.

Kirsty McCann has extensive equine experience gained from when she held an amateur license and as a lead equine veterinary nurse at an equine referral hospital, she now works as a nutritional manager at ARKequine. Kirsty is joined by Dr. John Henderson who has over 25 years of veterinary experience and has a particular interest in equine preventative medicine and nutrition.

Together they will lead the format of the webinar which will be structured by questions received by Treo Eile (anne.oconnor@treoeile.com) in advance of the webinar and will cover a wide variety of subjects from nutrition, training, and development and behaviour. This will be followed by a Question and Answer session and a prize draw raffle to win €200 of ARKequine vouchers.
