Treo Eile Rewarding Thoroughbreds at Pony Club Championships

Treo Eile is very pleased, with the support of the main sponsor Connolly’s Red Mills, to be presenting a training bursary to the highest placed thoroughbred horses at the IPC Eventing Championships to take place at Tattersalls Ireland on August 27th & 28th.

The Irish Pony Club is one sector that we have seen an increase in the participation of members on thoroughbreds.  In July, we were very pleased be asked to give a demonstration to the Ward Union Branch on the ‘Suitability of Thoroughbreds for Pony Club Members’, using demo riders Tekke Whelan (Bray Pony Club) with the 6yo Maxios gelding FORTUNATE MAX and Aisling Dwan (Kilkenny Hunt Branch) with the 2017 Aintree Grand National winner ONE FOR ARTHUR.

We would like to wish all competitors the best of luck for the Championships.

A marvellous night with the stars!

Think December 15th… coming towards the end of the cold snap… postcard scenes all around us, skating rinks rather than roads, bucketing water to thirsty Thoroughbreds for many of us! In one pocket of Kildare however, a plan was being kept on course for a night with the stars!  Some of Ireland’s greatest jockeys had

Spring into Action with Treo Eile Sponsored Prizes

Hard to think that we are nearing the end of 2022!  We are thrilled to have rewarded so many ex-racehorses that have transitioned to compete in different disciplines over the past twelve months and we applaud the standard of retraining undertaken by owners and riders.
