In the lead up to the Corinthian Challenge Charity Race, the Irish Injured Jockeys have donated €5,000 to Treo Eile. Our organisation is truly grateful for this kind gesture stemming from Caren Walsh of AIRO, IIJ General Manager Michael Higgins, and others within the IIJ.
This donation will aid Treo Eile in continuing our efforts to Promote and Support thoroughbreds and ex-racehorses in particular on their journeys to transition into a second career. We also work hard to connect Racehorse trainers and owners with anyone who may provide a safe and fortuitous home for the TB exiting the racing world.
Treo Eile supports thoroughbreds through training clinics, funding, and competition opportunities. We have affiliation with organisations within showing, showjumping, dressage, eventing, polo, polocrosse, Pony Club, Riding Club, and education. It is our goal to not only provide space for thoroughbreds in all disciplines, but to encourage their discipline and promote their incredible skill and adaptability.
As a not-for-profit organisation, funding from our dedicated sponsors, kind organisations, and even individuals who share our desires to provide the best aftercare possible for ex-racehorses, is vital to our mission, and is the reason we have been so lucky to aid thoroughbreds across a multitude of disciplines. We greatly appreciate any assistance large or small, and donations can be made through our website – access via the link here.
