Showing Clinic in Preparation for RDS

Building on the success of Last year’s pre-Dublin Horse Show clinic, we are hosting a Dress Rehearsal Clinic in Coilóg Equestrian Centre Co. Kildare. It will be hosted by multiple RDS racehorse to riding horse class winner Joanne Quirke. Joanne has won this class on esteemed exracehorses ‘Cooldine’ and ‘Forpaddytheplasterer’.

Feedback from last year’s clinic participants show that an opportunity to walk through the paces of the actual R2R class at the RDS, helps to relax both horse and rider, and provide valuable experience for the upcoming Dublin Horse Show. This year’s dress rehearsal will be held in a grass arena, to provide the most realistic experience possible. Joanne Quirke – a professional in this field, will share her experiences with the horse show, and offer expert tips on top performance, and how to deal with the pressure and atmosphere of the day. She will talk participants through the day, from the time you arrive until you leave the show ring – so that you may gain the best advantage possible.

The layout of the Clinic is as follows:

Each session is just €25. The first is a chance for general show goers to learn about showing their thoroughbreds from Joanne Quirke. The latter two, are specifically aimed towards those qualified for the RDS.
