Show Jumping Clinic with Tom Walsh

Treo Eile is delighted to announce an exclusive series of progressive lessons with the esteemed equestrian coach, Tom Walsh, at the Emerald Equestrian Centre.

This will run across three dates: February 22nd, March 8th, and March 22nd, offering riders the chance to develop their skills and mindset under expert guidance. The sessions will be structured to accommodate three levels:

  • 80cm

  • 90cm

  • 1m

Whether you are looking to refine your technique, improve course management, or gain competitive confidence, these lessons are designed to empower and elevate your riding skills.

 

About Tom Walsh

Tom Walsh is renowned for his ability to seamlessly combine effective riding techniques with a positive mental approach. His coaching philosophy focuses on helping riders build a harmonious partnership with their horses while achieving their personal equestrian goals. Through this tailored series, participants will gain the confidence and competence necessary to excel in their riding journey.

A Progressive Learning Experience

Each lesson in the series will build upon the previous one, ensuring steady development and a structured learning experience:

Week 1 (Feb 22nd):

Grid work and pole work – enhancing rhythm, balance, and accuracy.

Week 2 (March 8th):

Breaking down a course – focusing on turn backs, related distances, and the relationships between fences.

Week 3 (Mar 22nd):

Riding a full course – putting it all together for a confident and effective round.

 

Booking Information

Bookings will be available here and will open on Friday, February 7th, at 8pm.

The cost to book a place on the course is €90. Spaces are limited, so be sure to secure your place early!
