As part of the education pillar of Treo Eile, we aim to visit college and universities around the country to raise awareness and highlight the opportunities available to thoroughbreds after their racing careers are completed. Last month, Anne visited Gurteen College to facilitate a presentation and a demonstration to the students.
Carolann Dowling and her mare Bonita Bay delivered a demonstration on behalf of Treo Eile. During their showcase our students got to experience the versatility of the thoroughbreds. Throughout the demonstration Carolann showcased her mare and the students got to see the 2nd career that Bonita Bay now has since she finished her racing career.
