Liam begun retraining thoroughbreds from his family base at the Curragh Equine Rehabilitation Centre. With a long eventing history in the Pony Club, Liam has chosen showjumping as his chosen path and is currently jumping at 1.25cm. He has also ridden out for Darren Bunyan, where he obtained his first horse for retraining, a winning son of Camacho.

Using the facilities, including the hydrotherapeutic spa, Liam can improve blood flow and circulation to lower limbs both before and during retraining. A family background in dressage also ensures that flatwork is given priority, helping horses to obtain balance and fluidity during jumping.
