The Old Boreen Stud was established in 2019 to provide the best quality care and training for Horses and Ponies. We are a family run stud based in Co.Offaly, Ireland and are focused on breeding, producing, training quality horses and ponies for all disciplines. The owners Marta and Ross Sheridan are also aim to produce and retrain ex racehorses to show owners, syndicates and trainers that there is another life after racing. With ex Grade 1 Abbyssial on board and Shallow, the retraining process is not always easy but is very rewarding when you teach racers new skills. Our thoroughbreds are provided with best care, experienced people on board and good facilities to make the transition as easy and enjoyable as possible.
