Wexford Equestrian Centre Stepping Stones to Success Thoroughbred League

The Wexford Equestrian Centre Stepping Stones to Success Thoroughbred League culminated on Tuesday with Gerald Bloomer and Ballydrummond being the overall league winner. Ballydrummond is a 6yo by Valirann, out of a Classic Cliché mare, he ran once on the track and once in point-to-points when trained by Andrew McNamara.

A prize fund of €1500 sponsored by Treo Eile plus an additional prize of “Best Raced Throughbred” sponsored by the Irish Horse Welfare Trust ensured an attractive numbers of entries each week. Further still, a super competiton environment and great confidence building tracks saw combinations develop and improve each week.

A huge well done to the winners and a big thank you to Orla and Pat of Wexford Equestrian Centre for their recognition of the thoroughbred as the ideal eventer!
